CAMBRIDGE PRESBYTERIAN SOIREE.

On Thurtd»y evening last » soiree wms held at Cambridge. Although the weather was very unpropitious the hall was well filled. The annual report on church affaira|was read by Mr Campbell, in the absence of Major Clare. We print the statement of accounts below. Afterwards addresses were delivered by the Bey W. G-. Thomas, the Rev D. Bruce, Captain Runciman, and [Mr Johns. Anthems and glees were sung nt intervals by the choir, under the leadership of their precentor, Mr R. Fisher. The usual vote of thanks was passed, and those present departed for their homes about 10 o'clock. The following is a statement of receipts and expenditure :—
