An inquest was held in .St Andrew's ohurch to-day on the body of the Rev Mr Hamilton. The jury retained ns a verdict, " That deceased was found dead, but that no evidence had been produced to show bow he came by his death." The steamer Manawatu made her trial ti ip. to-day. She has been built by Messis JN'icol, of the North Shore, for the Wellington, Manawatu, and Wanainm tiade-. Mr Schertt'a stoamer for the Waikato trade is nearly completed.
