Wellington, TuesdayA deputation of the Grey Coal Company have completed arrangements with the Government for the lease of tlio coal reserves at Grey Kiver. The company have a right' to iclecfc a thousand acres of tho coal reserve within tw°I V0 months ; rent, twenty pounds per year. Loaso for twentvono years, with right of renewal lor a further similar period ; terms to be agreed upoti. Tho company also to hare right to purchase 150 acres in blocks not less than ten, and not exceeding thirty acroi each. Royalty only chargeable upon such coal as sent by river, 2s 6d per ton. Locomotives, rails, and rolling stock for Brunnor line shipped in Hay. Whole' works expoctod to be completed within eighteen months. Deputation worked energetically. Sailed : Luna, for IVhaugauui.
