Mr Alfred Buckhrd reports ;— At the H-iymnrket, on Friday last, fodder wns witliout alteration in value. Draught horse stock were well represented, nucl in inquire Uest animals brought from £40 to £57; medium strength £26 to £34i each. Hiding horses were of medium quality only. Tb© land advertised was sold privatel j — £330 for 14 acres. A*. liemuera on Thursday dairy cattle wero plentiful and dull of sale, but without alteration in -value. Young cattle in short supply and in good request. Several pens of steers, f.om two to two-and-a-half years old, sold freely awfully late rates. Fut cattle wero in full supply ; 132 head sold ; beat v quality brought 2Ga tho 1001b. istore sheep were plentiful, but of indifierent quality ; they were in demand at extreme prices. Fat slice)) were s-hort of requirements, and a slight advance was obtained ; prices ruled from 4Jd to 5d per pound. Piga of all kind were plentiful,. For well-fed porkers there was a good inquiry, at full prices, but etcre pigs were at low values.
