The third charge, touching flour transactions, is held in abeyance. Piiniel Burke, charged at the Thames with luring committed a murder at Mercury Bay, has been remanded. A man namod William Fisher, engaged at the Pacific Battery, Thames, met with a serious (accident to-day. Ho is much hurt about the head and neck. Mjnigg stock is ;n gcroand. Gold has been struck, in the City of Dunedin mine.
