*Q-rahamstown, Friday, 8 p.m. Brown, Kemp, Aliipene, Pineha, and other leading chiefs of the Ngatimaru, loffc for Te Arolia to-night, to take action about Mr Alley's cattle, upon the suggestion of Mr J. C. Young, who pointed out tho folly of driving cattle to the "Waikato into the hands of the rebels. The chiefs consented to allow the whole mob to be sent to Hikutaia.
