Grahamstown, Monday, 8 p.m. At Hip Police Court to-day, tlio case n^ain^t Job Tyler, alias J. Love, for arson, W3S continued. Other six witnesses were examined, and strengthened the already overwhelming evidence against the accused, who was committed to take his trial at the next sittings of the Supreme Court, bail being refused. At the conclusion of examination, the magistrate, Captain Fraser, paid Sub-Inspector Bullen, of the police, a high compliment for the skilful manner m which the case was to the Court.
presented Tuesday, 8 p.m. Under instructtons from Dr Pollen, a numbor of native policemen havo been appointed, and are now scouring Okinemuri with orders to arrest any man found prospecting on Hopihana's permit.
