Those penned were mostly eighteen months old and upwards. Grown steers were not oflered, but for growing cattle, heifers, and cows, satisfactory prices were obtained ; 10i head were sold. — At Remuer.i, ou Thursday, dairy cattle fully maintained late values. Calved were m short cupply. Gr.umg steers, cigh teen-months to three-year-old, plentiful, and maintained previous values.. Fat cattle in excess of supply, and at km er values. Fat sleep ahori of requirement, and .1 shade better worth. Pigs wero Bca"CJ and in enquiry. Prices obtained during the past week are : For weaned calves, 20s to 32s (id j 18-monfchs steer-,, £2 los to £3 15s 5 two-ycnr-old, £ t to £5 ; three-yeav-olds and upwards, £6 to £0 173 Gd ; dai>y cows at protit, 17 5s to £10 ss ; dry cows, from £3 10s ; fat cattle, 18-* to 22s 6d tho lOOlbs ; fal sluvp, 3ld to 3?. l (he lb ; pig^ of best quality, and smiiU sues, 3Jd to Id the lb.
