(To the- Editor of the Waikato Timw.)Sic, — In your issue of the 20th February several questions are asked by a rntepnyor of this district tot which I beg to send the following reply : — The Dumber of acres in tho district nre> about 28,150; of these 17,961 paid rates lost year; the owners of 5,186 cannot bo found ; and about 5,000 acres, of town, suburban, and country land belong to the General Government.
