A special London despatch, JcUtcd February 5, received per Rangitoto states:— The movement* againt Elm aby Russia are of a character to excite serious apprehensions in Europe. Kussia- biw sent away 150,000 men and a large body of field artillery, a number far beyond that required for bho attainment; of alleged 1 ltussian purposes. Continental papers regard it as & challenge to England. Russian papers indicate a feeling of contempt for English interference. The Tones and other journals point out that England need not bo alarmed, as Russia could not maintain un Asian and' European war at the same time.
