Auckland Caitlk M\hkit.— M.i A. JJuckland reports tiint at the last Bale at the Haymarket, fodder was about fid per cwt. higher than the previous week. Horse stock were m usual i)umbprs, but the heavy draught, fillies were not brought forward. The principal e|eniaiid vas for act no draught horses of mediuni stjength. All good hors>ps of this plass sold at prices varying from £13 to £20 10s. Hiding hors-cs. from £b to £10 10s. For Mr Bassctt's Leicester fleck pn Monday there was a good demand. The best imported rum brought fifM-lwo guinea*; good shearling rams, from scu-n to eleven and a-half guineas ; inferior, from £3 3s , ram luiubs, fiom 25s to 83s ; shearling ewes, from 45s to 84s ; pged e«os, from 40s to 455; ewe lambs, from \126 Gi\ to GOs each. Fat cattle were penned iv excess of lmniediale requirements. j\t opening of sale last week's values were maintained, but the prices fell as the auction continued from 2s to Is the 1001b ; 178 head, principally Bteers, were sold.
