XN consequence of difliculty and expense in collecting -*• accounts over a sparsely settled district like Waikato, and as fi eight is paid in cush in all other parts of the world, the Directors have decided that on and after February lit, freights are to be paid for on delivery, and that no monthly accounts will be allowed. The same rule to apply to ilour and coal. To facililate this change, stores havo been orectcd at the landings of Ngaruauahia, Hamilton, Cambridge, Te Rore, and Alexandra, and agents have been appointed at these places, whoso duty it is to receive all goods ex or for Iho steamers, and store them for a fortnight free of expense to consignees, but at their risk.
