A PUBLIC MEETING will beheld on Tuesday, the 14th inst., at Half-past Seven p.m, at the Royal Hotel, Hamilton, to consider the best steps to be taken to connect the Waikato with the Thames Gold F,ield; also to appoint a Committee to confer with Mr Robertson, who hns been deputed by a Public Meeting at the Thames to visit the Waikato on this subject.
