OCKEY CLUB. An Adjourned Meeting of gentlemen favourable to the formation of a Jockey Club in Riverton will be lield on Wednesday, the 10th inst., at the Commercial Hotel. PARIMA ROAD BOARD NOTICE is hereby given that this day the Aparima Road Board made,-for the year ending 30th June, 1874, a General Rate of One Shilling in the Pound on the rateable property within the Road District. The Rate Book is open for inspection of ratepayers at the house of the Clerk, Flint’s Bush. All rates must be paid to the Collector, at his house, Flint’s Bush, on or before the 14th February, 1874. Any person wishing to appeal against valuation or assessment may do so within one month from the date of this notice, in accordance with the provisions of “ Highway Boards Empowering Act, 1871.” J.
