WAIPUKURAU BRA NCH.
The Waipukurau Eranch of the above society held the usual'monthiy committee meeting in St. Andrew’s Hall on Tuesday afternoon. The president (Miss 'Wilson) presiding over the following members:—Mesdam.es J. Winlove, Ormond, Mathieson, Hopkinson, B. J. McCormick, Leigh, De Lacey, Broad, Percy Hunter, Bates, Ward, De- Stagpoole (Takapau sub-branch), and the hon. secretary. Apologies were received from the following: Mesdames J. W. Harding, J. Hobson, A. McCormick and others. The nurse’s report was read and disclosed a satisfactory condition among the infants of the district. One new member was elected. There being no accounts to pass, correspondence was dealt with, after which the delegate to the recent con- , ference held in Wellington completed the report held over from last meeting, after which final arrangements for the staging of the play “Lord Richard in the Pantry” by the Havelock North amateurs, were made.
