CAR ON WRONG SIDE.
®> CRASHES INTO MOTOR CYCLE. Seldom is it reported that a motor car-tries conclusions with a motor cycle, and then, 50 yards along' the' street smashes up a gig. Such was the nature of a double accident reported to have occurred in Ruahiiie Street, Palmerston North, on Saturday, evening. It is alleged that the car was being driven on the wrong side, and grazed the cycle, upsetting the ' rider, who fortunately, escaped with only a shaking. The car apparently continued its journey, and crashed into a horse and gig. the animal sustaining a deep wound on the shoulder, while the gig was badly smashed. xMrs Pederson, who was in the gig. received abrasions to the head and shoulder, and was taken to the hospital. ’ Manawatu Times.
