WAIPUKURAU BOROUGH COUNCIL NOTICE OF SPECIAL ORDER. is hereby -given that at a Special Meeting of the Waipukurau Borough Council, held on TUESDAY, Bth day of February, 1927, the following resolution was passed and will be submitted for confirmation at a Special Meeting of the Council to be held on TUESDAY, Bth day of March, 1927, at 7.30 p.m., in the Council Chambers, Northumberland Street, Waipukurau. RESOLUTION. That in pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it by the Municipal Corporations Act, 1920, the Local Bodies Loans Act, 1926, Section 14 of the Local Legislation Act, 1926, and of all other Acts and powers (if any) it in that behalf enabling the Waipukurau Borough Council hereby resolves by way of Special Order as follows: —To proceed to raise a loan of One thousand and six hundred and fifty (£1650) pounds for the purpose of completing the erection and equipping of Municipal Theatre and Shops. That the currency of the Loan shall bo for a period of ton '(10) years. That the rate of interest on the said Loan shall be at the rate of six (6) per centum per annum. As ..security it is proposed to strike 'a Special Rato, the same to be an annually recurring rate, of elcvcjififtieths (11-50ths) of a penny in the pound sterling on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the whole of the Borough of Waipukurau. A copy of the foregoing resolution is deposited at the Council Chambers, Northumberland Street, Waipukurau, and will be open for inspection during office hours until TUESDAY, Sth day of March, 1927.
