AUCKLAND, Tuesday. The selection of F. T. Badcock in the New Zealand cricket team to tour England this year was severely criticised at a meeting of the management committee of the Auckland Cricket Association this evening. It was decided to write to the New Zealand Cricket Council protesting against Badcock’s inclusion, on the ground that lie is not a New Zealander, but a professional coach in the employ'of the AVellington Cricket Association, and that as such he should not have been considered eligible for selection, .in the New Zealand team. —— . —
