Chambers, Northumberland Street _ Waipukurau, on TUESDAY, the Bth day of March, 1927, at 7.30 p.m. RESOLUTION; • That the Waipukurau Borough. Council proceed to raise by way of Special Order under the provisions of the Local Bodies Loans Act, 1926, and also under the powers’contained in the Local Authorities Empowering (Relief of Unemployment) Act; 1926, Orders in Council in pursuance of Section 20 of- the Finance Act, 1919, and Section 114 of the Local Bodies Loans Act, 1926, and in pursuance of all other Acts and powers (if any) enabling it in that behalf, the Special Loan of Five Hundred Pounds (£500) for the purpose of the construction of Reservoir Road Extension. That the currency of the Loan to be for a period of ten (10) years. That the rate of interest not to exceed Six (6) per centum per annum. ... That the Sinking Fund shall be 12/6 per centum., • As security it is proposed to strike a Special Rate, the same to be an annually recurring rate of 63-1000ths of a penny in the- £, on the whole of the rateable property, (on the basis of the unimproved value) in the whole of the Borough of Waipukurau.
