WAIPUKURAU YARDS. The Hawke’s Bay Associated Stock Brokers ’ report having held' their usual weekly stock sale at Waipukurau yesterday, when a big yarding of sheep, of about 15,000 head, mostly 5-year-old ewes, and a small yarding of.cattle, was offered td a very good attendance of buyers. The market opened easier than, the previous week, but hardened before the end of the sale.- The following Was the range of prices: Extra good 2-tooth ewes made up to 28/9; medium, 23/-, ordinary, 21/-; small, 15/ to 19/-; 4-tooth ewes, 18/- to .24/2; 6 and 8-tooth ewes, 18/6 to 21/6; 5year owes, 10/1 to 17/-; fat owes, 14/6 to 15/6; rape lambs, b.f., 14/9 to 18/4; Romney, 15/- to 1.7/9; small and m.s. lambs 5/- to 13/9; 2-tooth' wethers, 18/ to 20/; fat wethers 22/; fat bullocks, £9 6/ to £l2 10/; fat cows, £3 7/6 to £4 15/; cows and calves, £3 15/ to £5 5/; store cows, 13/6 to £2 15/; rants, Romney, llgns to 41gns; Southdown rams, 21 gns to Signs. The H.B. Farmers’ Co-op.
