In order to aid Japanese manufacturers, the Japanese Government has ordered its diplomatic and consular officers abroad to forward to the department of agriculture and commerce for its museum at Tokio samples of articles which are competing, or are likely to compete, with Japanese productions, or samples or articles which Japan might possibly be able to produce.
