"WTO TICE is hereby given that, in compliance with section 148 of “(The Counties Act, 1886,” and sections 37 and 44 of “ The Rating Act, 1894,” it is the intention of the Waipukurau County Council, at a meeting to be held in the County Council Office, Waipukurau, on SATURDAY, Ist August, 1908, at 2.15 p.m., to levy a General Rate of one penny farthing in the pound, on all rateable property in the Waipukurau County Council District, the said Rate to be for a period ommencing Ist July, 1908, and ending 31st March, 1909,and to be payable in one sum on the Ist September, 1908, at the County Council Office, Waipukurau, where the rate book is open for inspection.
