ONGA ONGA.

At the Onga Onga sale on Thursday there were not many stock forward owing to the state of the rivers. The attendance of buyers was fairly large and bidding was keen. The market for sheep was much sounder. Values of stores showed great improvement on those ruling at recent sales. Fat sheep sold well. Very few cattle were entered. The country around the district is looking very welL There is a large area going into crop, mostly oats. Mr W. Rice has just disposed of his farm at a satisfactory price. ‘ The town is growing tast and is becoming one of the most up-to-date of the townships away from railway communication.
