Poultry Show.
The Woodville Poultry Show was very successful. The following prizes were taken by Mr C. W. Mitchell, Waipukurau : 3rd prize, black Langshan cock; 3rd prize, white Langshan hen ; Ist prize, Buffs.c. cockerel, and special for best Buff (male or female) in show; *verv h.c., Buff single-comb pullet; 2nd prize, Silver Wyandotte hen ; 3rd prize, Silver Wyandotte pullet —3l entries. The North Island championship for Silver Wyandottes was won by a hen owned by E. Boss, of Christchurch. All the classes were well contested.
