Since the Californian earthquakes the aspect of Yellowstone Park—neat New York — has greatly changed. Extinct volcanoes pave resumed activity, and a new/ one has been formed. There was a fair attendance at stock sale to-day, a good yarding, and late prices were maintained. What is asserted io be the oldest lifeboat in existence! is preserved at Souft Shields as a Valued relic. It was built in 1830, and during more that 50 years of active service was instrumental in saving 1028 persons. j
