WOT ICE is hereby given that the Waipukurau Town Board propose to raise a loan of £3<>o under the provisions of the Government Loans to Local Bodies Act 1901 and the Amendments thereto, in one amount of £3OO, bearing interest and forming sinking fund at the rate of 5% per annum fora period of 26 years. The loan to be applied as follows : For erecting a system of lighting the streets of the Town District. The amount proposed to be raised is £3OO. As security it is proposed to strike an annual recurring rate of 9/filths of a penny in the £ to provide interest and sinking fund for the period of 26 years. 11 is proposed to pay the cost of raising the loan and the first year’s interest out of the principal of the loan. No married woman sha’lbe eligible as a selector. The area of the sections vary from 70 to 100 acres, and the rentals from 10s. 5-3 d. to Ils. 4d. per acre. If more than one application be received for the same section on the same day. then the order of selection shall be decided by ballot on the following day at 2 p.m. at the Ruahine Hall, Dannevirke.
