Any person who has picked up part of a perambulator will oblige by returning same to Press Office. Monday next will be a bank holiday—St. George’s Day. There are three candidates for the Napier mayoralty—Messrs S, Carnell (present mayor), McGrath and Granby. Election next Wednesday. The extinct volcano at Palma, in the Canary Islands, is showing signs of activity.
