Death of Mr G. Winlove.
—o—- — regret to announce the death, of Mr George Winlove, the oldest Waipukurau resident, which took place at his home this morning. Deceased, who wore his age well, had reached 71 years. He was highly respected by all who knew 7 him, and his rather sudden death came as a shock to many, as up to quite recently the old gentleman appeared to be in fair health—as a matter of fact, he was about at half-past eight this morning, and died about 9.30. Mrs Winlove died some years ago, and deceased leaves a grown-up family of four—Mr J. Winlove, Mrs B. Grosvenor, Miss Winlove, and Miss B. Winlove. The deceased had been a resident of Waipukurau for upward of 40years, before, indeed, there was any township, and it goes without saying that he had a host of friends throughout the district and province. Now has another familiar figure passed away. The funeral takes place to-morrow at 3 p.m.
