—o — The following business, in addition to that reported in Tuesday’s issue, was transacted: — That the clerk procure office furniture as required. That the overseer be instructed to form the road leading to Messrs Beachen’s and Wynn’s propertv by day labour, and that he get prices from local contractors for hire of horses and drays. That the overseer be instructed to notify residents to have overhanging trees and branches cutdown. Mr Eox, overseer, was appointed poundkeeper and ranger. That a levy of 5d in the & be struck on all ratable property in the town district, from sth day of March, 1906, for one y ear, rates pavable on the 2nd April, 1906.
