GARDEN FETE.

—o — A. meeting of ladies was held on Friday to discuss the holding of a Garden Fete at the Vicarage ou 7th February [Wednesday]. It was resolved to ask the Waipawa Band to favour the fete with their assistance. The following stall-holders were nominated: — Refreshments: Mesdames Nelson, Young, Hartley, Harris, and Craven. Cool drinks: Mesdames Bogle and Grosvenor. Produce: Mrs Smart and Miss Bailey. Ice’ cream : The Misses Harding. Sweets: Mrs Mackay and Miss Scrubv. Art’Gallery : Mr and Misses Nicholson. School children’s stall : Miss Winlove: A preliminary announcement in reference to the fete in another column.
