Lord Massey Convicted.

—o— At Woodville yesterday, George Massey Watson, alias McLeod, who represented himself as Lord Massey some months ago, and is said to be well-known in this district, was brought before the Court on one charge of obtaining money by false pretences, two charges of obtaining goods similarly, and one charge of theft. The charge ol obtaining money was dismissed, but he was convicted on a charge of obtaining goods. The other two charges were adjourned until next Thursday, and sentence on conviction was deferred until the other charges were heard.
