Notes. — Fine bright mild weather up to Bth j showery and unpleasant during tho remainder of the month, with only on occasional fine day, wind chiefly from S.E. and N.W., and genorally light ; very cold at fcimos and frosty nights. Very low barometer on llth and 12th, but rather fino woa thor, except on night of llth, when there was a squall of rain and sleet, and very cold. On 13th sevore squalls of hail an«l rain from S.E. j at 4 p.m. on 17th commenced to rain from N.W., and continued all night, wind changing to S.E. and ligbt, 3 inches recorded on the 18th ; heavy ruiu and strong wind from S.E. on 18th ; cold and sovere, 213 inches recorded on 19th.
