The Hon. Arthur Lyttelton, presiding at the Mackinder meeting, app'anded the utility of Mr. Mackindor's lectures, and thanked Ceylon, Hong Kon,' and tho Straits Settlements for contributing to the cost. He hoped tho movement would encourage tho pitriotism of school children. Lord Hanfmly said it was most urgwt to unito tho ompiro in tho bonds of sympathy, and tho loctures would arouso interest.
