A new phase of tho Keeiian-King eas o catnc before tho Court yesterday, when a demand was made on bohalf of Keenan for possession of will made by him in Maroh, 1903, and £lO was claimed for its detention by King, who refused todelivor up possession. Tho correspondence whioh had passed between the solicitors showed that King had expressed his readiness to deliver up to Keenan all paperp, booka, documents, etc., but that he suggostod waitirg until his counsel returned from the Appeal Court, then sitting. Tho parties eyentnelly met, when King handed over a gold watch, the key of the safe, etc. Objection, however, was taken to giving up the will, as that might be required for dofonce in the forgery charge against King, and it wis agrood that tho will should remain in tho possession of Mr, Sim, counsel for King. This arrangement was cancelled next day, and a domand was made for tho will and other papers. King tlion declined to give up the will till tbo trial. Among tho witnesses examined wai ,1, H. Hosting, solicitor for Koenan, who said that Keenan waa perfectly capable of understanding what he was doing, and (jnito capable of making a will. Mr. Sim: If that is tho case, why bothor 'about tho other will ? Mr Graham, SM.: I mako an order for the restitution of tho dooument, with 15 os damages, and costs. An ordor will be mado for delivery forthwith.
