Mr Pete Anderson, mate of the Oppolotns, Inst night tripped while stepping from tho wharf to the veßSol, and fell in the river and was drowned. A man namod Blackloek, n sailor, jumped after him but could find no trnoo as tho night was dark. Tho body was recovered later,
