Seizures of Liquor by the Police LAsr night Sorgoant Shechan, accompanied by tho two local constables, Flavel 1 and McGuinness, raided tho promises of Mrs Mullet, Barry Road, Waihi, and seized souio liquor found in the house, Early this morning, beforo day-break l tho samo polico woro seen starting oil' in a buggy in the direction of I'aoroa, They stopped at Karangahako, Hero thojr woro joinod by Coustablo Bovan, and tho party thon riudod tho premises of Jamoß O'Shaunnessy, Potric, Dohitnoro, and Nankio, From oach of tho promises seizures of liquor wero made, Tho out* como of these raids will probatly result in prosecutions- In our issue of Soptember 3rd last wo called attention to persistent reports that illicit soiling was going on at our own doors,
