London, Soptembor 5 In connection with tho military manoeuvres a horse of the Bth Hussars at Baddosley North brolto its log, and a veterinary surgeon shot it in the horso lines, causing 500 horses to become panic-s'riclion. They rushed a barbed wire fence, ami many of the horses were injured sevortly. Tho bulk traversed tho 14th Hussars camp, causing 500 horses ihoro to stampede. Seventy traversed Winchester, and 200 prun°cd to Southampton. Home were drowned, and 20 died from brokon legs and necks. Two hundred are missing.
