Greater Than Niagara
: It is not everyone who knows that there is a waterfall greater than Niagara, The May Pearson's Magazine says: "To say that tho Victoria Falls in Rhodesia are not, only tho grandost waterfalls, but also tho most sublimo spectacle in tho world—to say that tho Kivcr Zambesi measures uioro than a mile in breadth where it rushes over tho precipice in a roaring snow while torrent—to drop 400 ft, and to throw up columns of spray to some 2000 ft, visiblo 00 miles distant—this is to say nothing' Nothing at least, that conveys any idea of the magnitude and beauty of the Falls, For before this vast waterfall, as before a high mountain or a sea enraged, words, painting, and all art fail, Niagara's horse power is 7,000,000, the Victoria Falls have 30,000,000 horso power! '
