Stocked in half sizes and all fittings, at Forder’s, Avenue and Maria Place corner. ■ ' As showing the desirability of spraying peaches, wo noticed to-day, in Messrs Laird and Sons’ window, a branch or peach tree with “curl” in a very bad' form—the foliage was horribly distorted and twisted; these in a few days will fall off, and will leave the tree almost denuded of foliage and fruit. There is also shown with it another branch from a tree that had only received one spraying with Vermorite, and the effect was wonderful. The foliage was large, bright, and glossy, and there was a fair showing of fruit. The trees wore growing nearly side by. side, and the sprayed tree was treated once only with Yemenite in August.
