CHEATED OUT OF THE CONGO
FRANCO-GERMAN SETTLEMENT. Belgium Dissatisfied. - BRUSSELS, November 7 Belgium is not satisfied with the settlement that France and Germany have arrived at with respect to the cession of Congo territory. The Petit Bleu points out tb it the German banks which were established in Belgium, and vhich had been used lo collect Belgian funds, are now being emp’oyed to cheat this country out of its tentage lithe Congo, and also out of the eoutr d of the steamship lines running from Belgium to her African colony. , ■ The paper dedans that Germany ha« a scheme for the acquisition of *erritorv extending from -the Indian Ocean to the Atlantic, and that the agreement ’list concluded with France will help to bring about its realisation.
