V. ' (Per United Press Association.! DUNEDIN, November 10. The paper mills’ report states that the actual surplus is considerably less for the six months ended September 30th than for the corresponding period of 1910, though other properties earned good profits. Till the reinstatement of the Woodhaugh works it is considered unwise to declare the usual interim dividend, preferring to retain in hand what has been earned till ' the close of the year. If the present ratio of business continues a dividend will probably be declared covering the full period.
