In the Assembly Mr Woods' suspension was mentioned. Mr Willis (Speaker said Mr Woods’ explanation would he beard when he apologised, The debate on the Estimates was continued. Mr Wade characterised the Treasurer's statement as farcical, and moved a reduction in uio item as a mark of disapproval of the Government's action. It practically amounted to a vote of censure. The debate was adjourned.
