She brought a general consignment from which was discharged to-day. She sails for Wellington this evening, returning to Wanganui as soon as loaded. The Putiki went down river this morning, but was not allowed to attempt the bar. owing to the heavy sea. accordingly returned to the wharf and took in-a big consignment of wool. If possible, sho will sail for Wellington this evening The Stormbird left Wellington with a general cargo at 6.15 p.m. and came across the bar shortly after noon to-dav. On discharging she will return to Wellington, probably to-moi-r°Owing to a strong westerly, there was a heavy sea on the bar, effectualh preventing any departures up to -he hour at which we went to P rCRS - , Messrs. Millward advises that the Storm leaves Timaru on the 11th hist., Lyttelton on the 13th, and Wellington on the 14th, for Wanganui. The Petone leaves Dunedin on the 10th, Bluff on the 11th, Timaru on the 13th, Lyttelton on the Util, and Wellington on the 15th, for Wanganui.
