ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
TWO YOUTHS INJURED. (Per United Press Association.) TTMARU, Novetnber 6. By the fall of a tall pile oi flour sacks on, or near which they were engaged, two youths named Bndd and Dunnill, employed at the Atlas Mill,' were buried and considerable hurt. They were taken to the hospital; Bndd with a dislocated hip. SUDDEN DEATH. DUNEDIN,' November 7, Letitia Janet Miller, aged 6£ years, the daughter of a Brighton farmer, died very suddenly yesterday morning. MAN KILLED AT PUTUTAHI. GISBORNE, November 7. Charles Forbes, 33 years of age, single, ' was run over by a truck at Patutahi quarry this afternoon, and died within half an hour. - Deceased was dfiving a horse attached to a metal truck, and was walking slightly ahead of the truck when he slipped and fell on the track. The heavily-laden vehicle could not be stopped in time, and passed over the man’s legs near the thigh, inflicting serious injury. Medical aid wan summoned, but the injured man lingr-d unconsciously for only a short time. Deceased was understood to have come from America six years ago resided in the district four years.
