Questions for Mr. Hogan.

TO THE EDITOR. Slr .—As Mr J. T. Hogan, the sitting member for Wanganui, is to Speak in the Opera, House this evening, I-would, like with your permission, to put three questions which I and hundreds of others in v\ anganui arc desirous of hearing him answer satisfactorily if hb will. First Mr Hogan has stood fast by the' Gov-re-ment during the past three'' sessions, but now that another election. is to be hold he is at liberty to speak his mind freely and say what ho really thinks. Will ho therefore seriously declare this evening that Sir Joseph Ward can be regarded as a real friend of the workers?. -Wo all admit Sir Joseph Ward’s but many of us have no time for him politically," and we are anxious to know what Mr Hogan as a candidate, not as a member, really thinks. Second, will Mr Hogan seriously tell, us this evening whether he can justify the continuance in the Ministry of such men as Sir James Carroll and Mr A. J. Millar, to - say nothing of such men as Mr Tom MacKenzie (once a member of the Opposition) and Mr Buddo? Third, will Mr Hogan tell us this evening what, in his was the real reason for the Hon. Mr Fowlds leaving the Ministry, and docs Mr Hogan think Mr Fowlds did the rizht or wrong thing? These questions vitally affect the party which Mr Hogan has been supporting, and, as already stated, there are hundreds of men and women in .Wanganui who want these questions'satisfactorily answered and who will not be content with any side-stepping.—!• am", etc., WAITING.
