Arrived;—Opawa, from London. . WELLINGTON, November 7. . . A'rjrived.—Clan Ogilvey, s.s. (5.10 a.m.), from,’Newcastle. The only arrival to-day was the Putiki, at 9.7 a.m., from Wellington. She brought ' a big general cargo, which was discharged to-day. The Putiki sails for Wellington to-morrow.. The Arapawa and Kapiti sail to-night from Wellington for, Wanganui. The topsail schooner Amelia Sims, which, left Lyttelton a week ago, arrived off .the bar this morning. Should the wind con-tinue-favourable it is probable that she will get up to the wharf to-night. The Maroro’s coal is nearly all discharged, and she will commence to take in her cargo of timber almost immediately. Anchor Company’s steamers Nikau ■ and Kaitoa, which, with the rest of the fleet, have been idle since the coastal officers’ strike commenced, resumed run- . ning to Wellington last evening, released by the settlement reached through the Shipowners’ federation and the Merchant Service Guild.
