DISTRICT NURSING LEAGUE.
The ' mphthly meeting of - tlie Nursing League was held . yesterday. Mrs Kitchen presided, and. there wore also present— Mesdames .Smith,. Spindle," Bassett, Siddells, Sargcant, Christie, Dawkiu, Braik, Keesing,, Crawford, and ; Misses Alexander, Taylor, and Neivcombe (secretary). Apologies for absence were received from Mesdames Cummins, McKenzie, and Treadwell. The nurse, reported gifts and donations were received from Miss Kelly, Mrs MeParlane, Miss Alexander, Mrs Laird, Mrs Couborough, Mrs Kitchen, Miss Mclntosh, Miss L. Battle, Mr Fred Mcßeth, Mr McDougal, Mr Symes, Mr Messon, Mrs McKenzie, Mrs Archie McKenzie, and Mr Good. . ; Accounts v/ere passed for payment and the nurse’s report received and adopted. It was decided to thank Mr 3 vines for his generous donation of £1 is' towards the League's fund. It was reported that .during' the past ' mouth■ Nlirse Knobs had paid 294 visits Mb patients. , ■ Mrs Siddells- gave notice of- motfon for next meeting, that the League accept no more maternity eases, and only very deserving ones are to be considered for treatment. The matter of a defined district for the nurse to work in was brought up and it was decided to fix on the Wanganui electorate with the addition of Aramohb. Misses Alexander and Taylor were appointed visitors for the month. • '
