TO THE EDITOR; Sir,—l have noticed that some of the local professional fishermen habitually set stake -nets for fislmit the* vicinity of the Hospital sewer; in fact, all. along the mud bank right up to' the. railway runniiig sliede. Ido not know if the sanitary • authorities are aware- of the practice; ..or have tljo power to put a stop to it if brought under their notice; but seeing the Hospital is practically .full of scarlet fevei; patients,, something ought to be done,; for we may be visited with an epidemic of typhoid nest.—l am, etc,; : ' , THESE PISH.
