WANGANUI GOLF CLUB. On Saturday six couples who had tied’ for the Presidents prizes in mixed four-; somes played off. Alias P. Nixon and Mr I. Cameron (10), playing excellent golf in spite of the somewhat unfavourable weather, proved the winners, returning a card of 2 up on bogey. Miss Christie and Dr. AI. Earle (3) also played well, being all square, while Aliss Darley, with Mr Bayly for. her partner,. 44 was' olio. down. This event has proved one of The most interesting and well contested" competitions of the . year, and the thanks ’Of the club are duo 'to their President for his liberality in providing prizes for it. • 4
