HIDDEN TREASURE.

Received November 4, 11.50 a.m. OTTAWA, October 3. £25,000 in notes and gold has been found hidden underneath the -sidewalk, near the scene of a robbery.- from the Bank of Montreal at New Westminster, on September 15th. The robbers were unable to_.carry off their booty, and hoped to return. Other ritotes- have been,, found circulating in Eastern Canada. The police have renewed their activity, and the Pinkerton detectives, are hopeful of tracing the thieves shortly./
